Welcome to the website for our precious boys, Morgan and James. They were born on 20 September 2004 at 29 weeks + 4 days gestation, having been diagnosed with twin to twin transfusion syndrome.Morgan sustained brain damage and was very seriously ill shortly after birth and now suffers from microcephaly and quadriplegic spastic cerebral palsy. He is fed almost exclusively via a gastrostomy. Morgan has epilepsy and takes an anti-epileptic medicine. He loves people, especially people who cuddle him!

James' post-delivery problems began with necrotising enterocolitis ('NEC'). He had various complications with his lungs, liver and intestines, and has been on the brink of death several times. In April 2005 we even discussed turning off his life support. Thankfully he survived, and after spending the first 13 months of his life in hospital, he finally came home on 19 October 2005. He lost a key window for learning to feed and had a gastrostomy for a while, but now feeds normally. James also has epilepsy which is stable, under medicinal control. His development is significantly delayed and we do not really know how he will progress educationally. Like his brother, he is however exceptionally sociable.
